Planned trade and purchase collections

Auction and Dealer Vehicle Collection

Collection from auctions, dealers and trade premises with release information arranged in advance.

Buying a vehicle from an auction or dealer often involves fixed collection hours, buyer references and release procedures. AtWheel can arrange planned collection where the customer supplies the full site details, vehicle condition and authority needed for release.

Do not rely solely on the listing description. Confirm whether the vehicle currently starts, drives, rolls and has keys, and ask the seller or site to identify any damage that affects loading.

When this service is useful

  • Auction purchases
  • Dealer-to-customer delivery
  • Dealer and garage transfers
  • Trade vehicles bought as seen
  • Non-runners and project vehicles with condition details

Avoiding failed collections

Provide the buyer number, stock number, collection reference and authorised name exactly as the site requires. A screenshot of the release instruction can be useful, but sensitive information should only be shared through the agreed channel.

Check collection windows and whether an appointment is required. Waiting charges or a failed collection can arise if a site is closed or the vehicle has not been released.

Confirm keys, documents and loose parts. If items are expected inside the vehicle, list them with the seller before collection.

Auction & Dealer Vehicle Collection questions

These answers are general. The live vehicle, position and access still need to be checked.

What auction information do you need?

The site address, stock or lot number, buyer reference, release authority, opening hours and current vehicle condition.

Can you pay the auction on my behalf?

Payment and ownership arrangements remain between the buyer and seller unless a separate written service has been agreed.

What if the car is not as described?

Contact the seller or auction immediately. Additional loading requirements or a failed release may change the collection.

Can you deliver straight to a garage?

Yes, provided the garage has accepted the booking and will be open for handover.
