Hampshire and the Solent

AtWheel recovery and vehicle transport areas

Find vehicle recovery, roadside help and planned transport near the collection point. Choose the nearest town below, then give us the complete address, postcode or safe map pin.

Finding the right area

Use the town nearest to the vehicle, not necessarily your home address.

The local pages are there to help you find the right service and understand the main roads around the collection area. We still need the exact vehicle position before setting off. A town name alone is not enough, especially on industrial estates, rural lanes, underground car parks or divided roads.

For an urgent breakdown, call with the road or address, what has happened, whether the vehicle is in a safe position and where you want it taken. For planned transport, include both addresses, contact names, opening hours, key information, release references and whether the vehicle runs, rolls and steers.

Do not worry when a village or estate is not listed by name. Choose the nearest practical town and enter the real postcode or map pin in the quote form. Longer-distance vehicle transport outside Hampshire can also be reviewed.

Motorways and major roads

Broken down between towns?

Use the road that the vehicle is actually on and tell us the direction, nearest junction, service area, emergency area or marker.

On a motorway or divided A-road, a nearby town can point a recovery vehicle towards the wrong carriageway. Give the road number, direction of travel, nearest junction and a safe map pin whenever possible.

Call 999 for injury, fire, immediate danger or a vehicle blocking a live lane. Arrange private recovery once the scene is safe and lawfully accessible.

Choose the right service

Different situations need different kinds of help.

Tell us what the vehicle is doing and we will help you choose.

01

Vehicle recovery

Use vehicle recovery when the vehicle cannot continue safely and needs taking home, to a garage, bodyshop or storage.

02

Vehicle transport
