How much does it cost to recover my car?
The standard AtWheel recovery call-out charge is £100. Mileage and job extras are quoted separately. The full price depends on the collection and delivery points, vehicle condition and access. Call with those details so the job can be priced before you book.
Can I call if I don’t have breakdown cover?
Yes. You can contact AtWheel directly to discuss a one-off recovery. If you already have cover through an insurer, bank or manufacturer, check that policy before booking separately; reimbursement is not automatic.
Do you offer recovery near me across Hampshire?
AtWheel covers Hampshire, including Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Andover, Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Eastleigh and the New Forest. Tell us the exact location so we can check current availability and the right vehicle for the job.
Can you help with a flat battery at home?
Contact AtWheel for mobile jump-start assistance at home, at work or in a suitable car park. A car that will not start does not always need a jump start, so describe the symptoms and give the make, model and fuel type when you call.
Will £100 cover the whole recovery?
£100 is the standard call-out charge. It is not a promise that every recovery costs £100 in total. Mileage and job extras are quoted separately, and the full amount should be confirmed for your particular job.
Can you transport a car that does not run?
Often, yes, subject to the vehicle and loading conditions. We need to know whether the wheels roll, the steering works, keys are available and the vehicle can be put into a suitable loading state. Locked wheels or accident damage need a different plan.
