Why equipment selection matters
A car that rolls and steers can be loaded differently from one with locked brakes, collapsed suspension or missing keys. Ground clearance, wheelbase, total weight and the space around the vehicle also affect the safe method.
Information the customer should provide
- Exact make, model and body type
- Approximate weight for vans or modified vehicles
- Wheel, tyre, steering and brake condition
- Keys and neutral or transport-mode status
- Photographs of damage and collection access
- Height, gate, slope and surface restrictions
